The work is made up of three synchronized projections and a common sound. It is installed in a space with intermediate walls that delineate 3 separate parts. There is a common view to all of them from certain points. The action moves from one projection to the other, passing through the walls. They create visual barriers which are overcome by the search for connectivity between the individual frames against the background of the overall composition.
The shots are filmed on stage with 14 participants, non-professionals at different ages, trying to engage with each other through grasping, through touching and converging. Something that at times looks like a rehearsal without dramaturgy, at times gives the impression of a search for concrete action. The scenes unfold between the three screens, the aim being to create the sense that the spaces in between and the projections far apart from each other are in fact the obstacles in the context of the overall action.
This is not a play, but a sense of staging, of displacement; not a dance, but a sense of plasticity; not an embrace, but a touch; not support, but proximity, and the stage is a field of equality. The idea of the development of this gathering is – if there's nothing to do, don't do it here! Making sense of emptiness, reconciliation and barriers is to take place through the act of saturation, of overcoming and connecting. In fact, we live by playing roles, whether it be strangers or friends. Action is a reflex, a mechanism for development and survival.
