Computer simulation, 34'35''

The project is a video documentation. The artist reacts to the particular circumstances, places and time while following the curators of the exhibition “Roaming Images” during their visits to the Arab world. The visual information is collected and presented as a two-channel video installation, which is a mixture of images of concrete events, places, people and exotic sights. The work aims to show the different professional eye that is not looking intuitively through the camera lens but tries also to see “sideways”, thus discovering various topics and interrelations. In that way it creates a notion and an image of the particular processes in contemporary art and their relation to the specific context.

The two video channels are installed very close to each other. The minimum size of the whole projection is 320 cm (length). Equipment: two HD video projectors, two media players, synchronizer, audio system for each of the video channels. The videos are projected as two separate, synchronized video files, QuickTime (.mov), HD 1280x720.
